Are there any ticket discounts?
Absolutely! We are proud to offer area music teachers ONE FREE TICKET to all season concerts! We also offer group seating prices and student group prices. Students can also enjoy our day-of-concert $16 student rush prices. FVSO Season ticket holders also enjoy a 10% discount to tickets all season long, so feel free to bring your friends and family to experience one of our concerts.
What if I arrive late?
Doors open at 6:30pm and concerts are scheduled to start at 7:30pm. Please allow plenty of time for arrival and ushers will be happy to assist in finding your seats. Out of courtesy to musicians and guest artists, late arrivals may be seated between complete works. TV monitors are available outside the hall for your enjoyment.
What should I wear to a concert?
While there is no set dress code, most people opt for business casual. As long as you are comfortable, we are happy to have you join us!
When do I applaud?
This is a common question, but please don't be concerned. When in doubt, follow those around you! At pops concerts, applause is customary after every selection. During classics concerts, you can hold applause until the entire piece is complete. Our program book lists movements and pieces to help with this.
Can I learn more about the music?
Yes! We often have educational gatherings before our concerts, either in the hall or at other local venues. Our pre-concert talks take place in the KC Theatre at the PAC immediately preceding the performance at 6:40pm (doors open at 6:30pm). We also have presentations at the Appleton Public Library. Please check individual concert pages for event listings as they vary for each concert.
Where can I get more information on the concert or Performing Arts Center?
Feel free to call our office at 920-968-0300 with any questions. We are happy to assist! For questions about ticketing or the concert hall, please refer to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center at 920-730-3760.
