2009 Fox Valley Symphony Young Artist Festival
The Fox Valley Symphony Young Artist Festival will be held on January 17, 2009, at the Lawrence Conservatory of Music in Appleton. The Festival is a day-long series of four instrumental and vocal competitions, a clinic and winners' performance. The Festival exists to inspire middle and high school musicians through educational and performance opportunities by providing:
- Judges' critiques of his/her performance
- A venue in which to meet and hear other young musicians
- Encouragement and recognition
- Clinics and prizes to help further their music education
The Fox Valley Symphony Young Artist Festival is held in collaboration with the Fox Valley Music Teachers Association. Applications must be postmarked by December 1, 2008.
