November 14, 2009 - Symphonie Fantastique
The music was excellent, the solists were superb. Do everything you can to keep Mr. Groner. It was good to hear the excellent muscianship and quality or the solists from our own orchestra.
what a terrific choice of literature ...not the "normal" fare for this, or MANY other, pro/simi-pro orchestras
Really enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere of this concert. I brought my daughter and her friend and they both enjoyed it very much.
October 2, 2009 - Opening Night
THANK YOU FOR GROUP TICKET SALES AND FREE TICKETS TO TEACHERS. A private student of mine has persuaded her public school band director to order group tickets to the next concert.
I loved everything. Such precision - such beautiful interpretation in everything, especially Beethoven's "Eroica".
We were so impressed with the entire performance. We are not a family with very much musical but enjoyed the performance so much that we are now planning which performance we will attend next.
The new concertmistress was very energetic and enjoyable to listen to and watch.
We were quite impressed! We usually go south to Milw. or Chicago, but will now do more in the Fox Valley.
