The Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra, in association with Monica Robinson Ltd., presents Three Phantoms in Concert: Selections from Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera and other Broadway greats.

We celebrate Halloween with three fabulous tenors Craig Schulman, Ted Keegan and Brad Little, each of whom has sung the lead role of Erik in the The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and beyond. Scary, sublime and rollicking musical favorites abound.

Program Notes

Craig Schulman

Invited to represent the U.S. at the 10th Anniversary of Les Misérables in London, Craig Schulman is the only actor in the United States to have portrayed three of the greatest musical theatre roles: the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd-Webber's The Phantom Of The Opera; Jean Valjean in Les Misérables; and the title roles in Jekyll & Hyde. He has portrayed Jean Valjean in three countries for a total of over 1,900 performances.

He has appeared with many opera companies around the U.S., singing leading roles in Madame Butterfly, Carmen, Die Fledermaus, La Bohéme, La Traviata, The Crucible, and Manon.
As a Pops artist, he is the creator and producer of the BROADWAY NIGHTS™ concert series. Craig has appeared in all six of the BROADWAY NIGHTS™ programs around the country, and individually with the Pittsburgh Symphony, and the Philadelphia Pops with Skitch Henderson.

Ted Keegan

Following a very successful run in the Broadway Company, Ted Keegan starred in the National Tour of The Phantom of the Opera, performing the role in 24 States across the country. He has sung the role in front of the largest live audience ever at Madison Square Garden singing “The Phantom of the Opera” during the half-time show of the NBA All-Star Game.

Ted made his Broadway debut in the highly acclaimed 1989 revival of Sweeney Todd. Broadway and National Tour credits include Cyrano: The Musical, Mordred in Camelot with Robert Goulet and starred in the European Tour of the Arthur Kopit/Maury Yeston version of Phantom.

Ted has performed with the Detroit, Syracuse, Seattle, Edmonton, Portland, Pittsburgh, Ottawa, Baltimore, and Las Vegas as well as the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center.


Brad Little

Brad has played the role of the Phantom over 2,000 times in theaters across America, on Broadway and in Asia. His Broadway and National credits include the Lincoln Center production of Anything Goes in which he played the role of Billy Crocker. Regional theaters enjoyed him as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Erik in Phantom at Tennessee Rep and Che in Evita at Bristol Riverside Theatre where he won Philadelphia’s Barrymore Award for best actor in a musical. His international tours include Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Tony in West Side Story.

Mr. Little has performed with the orchestras of Oregon, Seattle, Indianapolis, Des Moines, Cincinnati Pops, with Marvin Hamlisch with the Pittsburgh and National Symphony orchestras and the Orchestra Symphonic of Brazil and Rio de Janeiro.
