Join us for the second of our 4-concert series of Masterworks with New Voices, sponsored by US Venture, Inc. on Saturday, April 28 at Lawrence University's Memorial Chapel. This concert celebrates the 40th Anniversary of New Voices, and we are honored to share their stage! What makes a "masterwork?" It is a work of art that transcends time to bring meaning and relevance to generations. In our case, it's a work that combines chorus and orchestra and gives the community the opportunity to hear a virtuoso work. We can't wait to share this with you!

Join us on April 28 at Lawrence Memorial Chapel for U.S. Venture Masterwork: Rutter's Gift of Life and Requiem! This is the second of our 4-year Masterworks Series, brought to you by US Venture, Inc./Schmidt Family Foundation. This special night celebrates New Voices 40th Anniversary, featuring 55 of our musicians from the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Phillip Swan leads us in a grand celebration of life, honoring the past, present, and future featuring two beautiful works by a giant in choral music, John Rutter. Rutter's "Requiem" features simple melodies layered with rich orchestration--a highlight is the gloriously pure "Pie Jesu." Rutter's "Gift of Life" is his most recent composition featuring six movements celebrating the miracle of creation.
